Biographies

Peter G. Herman, a director with Tripp Scott, is an experienced litigator who has successfully tried numerous cases at the state and federal levels. Throughout his career, he has handled a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters. He has also represented individuals and businesses in the defense and prosecution of personal-injury claims.

AV rated Martindale-Hubbell, Herman has handled claims involving disputes for individuals and corporations, including Browning Ferris Industries, Travelers Insurance, the National Council on Compensation Insurance, Gunther Volkswagen/Mazda, Pompano Park Harness Track, Alamo Rent-A-Car, Columbia Hospitals, Ryland Homes and Frederick R. Harris Inc., the consulting engineer for the construction of the Sawgrass Expressway.

Herman is a member of the Court Practice Institute, a diplomat in the Institute in the Science of Trial Advocacy and a former chairman of a 17th Judicial Circuit Ethics Committee. He also serves on the board of directors of the Broward County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Herman is a member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Broward County Trial Lawyers.

Herman holds a law degree from Nova Southeastern University Law School and a bachelor's degree from Florida State University.
